On Friday the 24th the new SQL MP has been released, version 6.0.6648.0. This MP mainly resolves issues with monitoring clustered SQL servers.
Kevin Holman has written a very detailed posting about it where he also writes about the undocumented features.
Advise: read his posting first, afterwards the SQL MP Guide included with the msi-file containing the new SQL MP, before importing this MP into your OpsMgr environment.
Even though the R2 Console allows a direct import of this MP via the web service catalogue, it is better to download the MP, unpack it (for example with a MSI-packager program as I blogged about) RTFM in order to get a full understanding of what this MP does and than to import it.
